Hepcinat + Natdac 12 Weeks
Brand name: Hepcinat
Active Ingredients (Generic Name) : Sofosbuvir
Company Name: Natco Pharma
Package: 28 tabs
Strength : 400mg
It is used for the treatment of hepatitis Cvirus (HCV) infection. Compared to previous treatments, sofosbuvir-based regimens provide a higher cure rate, fewer side effects, and a two- to four-fold reduced duration of therapy. Sofosbuvir allows most patients to be treated successfully without the use of peginterferon, an injectable drug with severe side effects. that is a key component of older drug combinations for the treatment of HCV.
Sofosbuvir is used for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C, genotypes 1, 2, 3, and 4, in combination with pegylated interferon and ribavirin, or with ribavirin alone. It is also used in combination with the viral NS5a inhibitor ledipasvir in an interferon-free combination for the treatment of genotype 1 hepatitis C infection. sofosbuvir also used along with the daclatasvir for the genotype 3 indication and also available pangenotypic combination of sofosbuvir and velpatasvir. Sofosbuvir is also used in HCV patients with an HIV coinfection. The treatment is based on a number of clinical trials, for example the ELECTRON trial which showed that a dual interferon-free regimen of sofosbuvir plus ribavirin produced a 24-week post-treatment sustained virological response (SVR24) rate of 100% for previously untreated patients with HCV genotypes 2 or 3.
Mechanism of Action:
Sofosbuvir contains oral nucleotide analog inhibitor of the hepatitis C virus (HCV) polymerase. The drug is a direct-acting antiviral agent and interferes straight with the HCV lifecycle, restraining the viral replication. It can be incorporated into HCV RNA by the NS5B polymerase and acts as a chain terminator. The drug is available for oral use in the form of 400mg tablets.
Dosage and Administration:
The recommended daily dose of Sofosbuvir is 400mg tablet to be taken once daily with or without food. Sofosbuvir should be used in combination with Ribavirin or in combination with Pegylated Interferon and Ribavirin for the treatment of CHC (Chronic Hepatitis C) in adults. It is highly advisable to administer the drug under strict medical supervision and advice.
Adverse events associated with the use of Sofosbuvir in combination with Ribavirin may include, but are not limited to, the following
o Fatigue , headache
Adverse events associated with the use of Sofosbuvir in combination with Peginterferon Alfa and Ribavirin may include, but are not limited to, the following:
o fatigue,headache, nausea, insomnia, anemia
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 18 years. Consult WARNINGS section for additional precautions.

Natdac 60mg Tablets
Brand name: Natdac
Active Ingeridents(Generic Name) : Daclatasvir
Company Name: Natco
Package: 28 Tablets/Bottle
Strength : 60 mg
Daclatasvir is used with another antiviral medication (sofosbuvir) to treat chronic (long-lasting) hepatitis C, a viral infection of the liver. Daclatasvir should never be used without sofosbuvir. Daclatasvir and sofosbuvir may also be used with another antiviral medication (ribavirin). These medications together reduce the amount of hepatitis C virus in your body, which helps your immune system fight the infection and may help your liver recover. Chronic hepatitis C infection can cause serious liver problems such as scarring (cirrhosis), or liver cancer.
Mechanism of action:
The dimeric symmetry of these compounds suggests that they act on a dimer of NS5A, which is also consistent with the presence of dimers in crystals of NS5A domain 1 from genotype 1b. Genotype 1a HCV is less potently affected by these compounds and resistance mutations have a greater effect than in the 1b genotypes. We have obtained crystals of domain 1 of the important 1a NS5A homologue and intriguingly, our X-ray crystal structure reveals two new dimeric forms of this domain. Furthermore, the high solvent content (75%) makes it ideal for ligand-soaking. Daclatasvir (DCV) shows twofold symmetry suggesting NS5A dimers may be of physiological importance and serve as potential binding sites for DCV. These dimers also allow for new conformations of a NS5A expansive network which could explain its operation on the membranous web. Additionally, sulfates bound in the crystal structure may provide evidence for the previously proposed RNA binding groove, or explain regulation of NS5A domain 2 and 3 function and phosphorylation.
Dosage and Administration:
Take daclatasvir 60mg tablets exactly as your healthcare provider tells you to.
Do not change your dose unless your healthcare provider tells you to.
Do not stop taking daclatasvir without first talking with your healthcare provider.
Take daclatasvir 1 time each day with or without food.
The recommended usage of daclatasvir to treat chronic hepatitis C virus is 60 mg taken orally once daily with or without food in combination with sofosbuvir. The recommended treatment duration is 12 weeks.
Tiredness, headache, nausea, or diarrhea may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
Before taking daclatasvir, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details.
